This is the second post in my three part series of various makeup starter kits, because I definitely think when you’re starting out with makeup that it can be a bit overwhelming with all the different kinds of makeup products out there. If you want check out the picks for my absolute basic stuff, check out Monday’s post here.
So of course these are my additional picks on top of my basic kit, so to save time and keep you guys from reading the same stuff over and over again I’m not going to do a full write up, but here are my additional picks.
1.A Small Eye shadow Palette – I would recommend getting something that has at least 3 or 4 different shadows so you can create a couple of different looks, anything from subtle to dramatic. I would also recommend to start out with neutral colors, such as soft pinks and gold’s, browns and taupe’s.
Eye shadow Palette Options:
Covergirl trio in Shimmering Sands
Wet n’ Wild trio in Silent treatment or Sweet as Candy
2.Bronzer – this is a really great product that can have a lot of different uses. If you get a matte bronzer then you can use it not only for all over bronzing but you can also use it to contour your face, or use it as a great eye shadow. Also something that bronzer can be really useful for is if you get a little bit of a tan and your foundation is just a touch too light, then you can use your bronzer to help match your face to the rest of your body without going out and purchasing a whole new foundation.
NARS Laguna (my personal favorite!)
Well these are some of my additional picks to add to your makeup collection, if you’re looking through this and you already have these types of products, check out tomorrows post for even more products! Until next time . . .
