Review: L’OCCITANE Almond Shower Oil

DSC_1052_mini

Hello Lovelies,

Today I’m reviewing something that I’m not sure a lot of people know about: The L’occitane Almond Shower Oil. Something I heard about through a couple of British beauty bloggers and I’m so happy I listened to them.

Product

This golden oil is supposed to soften and nourish skin, while also cleansing beautifully. That is exactly what it does. It has a thick oil texture that smooths pretty easily over skin. Then you add a bit of water to your skin and the oil transforms into a frothing milk that moisturizes skin, but also rinses clean and doesn’t leave a residue on your skin or your shower.

What I really love using this for is as shaving cream for my legs, because the moisturizing formula really helps your razor glide across the skin, and also helps against from any razor burn.

The scent on this is pretty subtle and light, its like a warm amber scent wit hints of vanilla and almond – though if you’ve ever smelled true almond oil/extract, this smells nothing like that!

Packaging

This is very simply packaged in a small clear plastic bottle, with a silver lid. Nothing fancy going on here, but it doesn’t need to be because the product inside is amazing!

Price

This is priced at $25 for 8.4 fl. Oz. Not overly expensive in my opinion, but also not inexpensive. You don’t need that much to smooth over your skin and I find that even though I’ve had this for a couple of months that I still haven’t gone through that much.

Overall

If you’re looking for a very luxurious bath product, either for yourself or as a gift, I highly recommend this!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, let me know what you want to see next! Until next time . . .
